πŸ† What a Night! – 2025 Rookie Banger Championship of the World

Published:

What a night at Ringwood Raceway! The 2025 Rookie Banger Championship of the World had everything β€” huge hits, packed grids, and a crowd that never stopped cheering.

We were trackside to witness every second, and it’s safe to say this year’s event will go down as one of the best yet.

The Championship Atmosphere

The build-up alone made it feel special. Once again, the meeting was proudly sponsored by Tony Smith of Tony Smith Kitchens, who continues to support one of the most prestigious nights on the Rookie Banger calendar.

This year marked the 21st running of the event since its inauguration way back in 2003, and the tradition shows no signs of slowing down. Every year brings fresh faces, fierce rivalries, and a reminder of why Rookie Banger racing captures the heart of the fans.

A New Name on the Trophy

The 2025 Rookie World Champion has been crowned β€” and it’s congratulations to 440 Macaulay Mills, who drove an absolute blinder of a race to claim the title.

Macaulay’s performance was confident and controlled from start to finish. He handled the pressure like a seasoned pro, picking his moments perfectly and holding off a hard-charging field to take the win.

Pictured here with Tony Smith, the meeting sponsor, and the trophy team (photo credits: Jerry Fisher), Macaulay proudly lifted the huge World Championship trophy, earning the right to wear the famous Gold Roof for the next twelve months.

We’d like to wish him every success racing with that roof β€” a title that means everything in Rookie Banger circles.

Respect to Every Driver and Team

From the garages to the grid, the effort that goes into a night like this is enormous. Every car on track is a result of late nights, busted knuckles, and sheer passion.

We want to give full credit to all the drivers and race teams for their hard work and commitment β€” it truly paid off.
The racing was fast, clean, and entertaining from start to finish.

And of course, a massive shout-out to the fans. The grandstands were full, and the atmosphere electric β€” your support makes every meeting worthwhile and helps keep this sport alive.

Next Stop: The Rookie Banger UK Open

The next big one at Ringwood Raceway is already on the horizon β€” the first-ever Rookie Banger UK Open, taking place on Saturday 6th December.

If last night’s racing is anything to go by, the UK Open will be another unforgettable evening packed with close battles and big hits.

We’ll be there once again to bring you all the action as it happens β€” don’t miss it!
